Ceetak Ltd is pleased to announce their support and official sponsorship of Bedford Blues Rugby Club during the 2014/2015 season.

The Blues are a semi-professional Rugby Union club currently playing in the RFU Championship and based at the Goldington Road ground in our hometown of Bedford.

The Blues have a long standing history within the town. It was first formed in 1886 after an amalgamation between Bedford Rovers and Bedford Swifts and the club has been playing on virtually the same pitch for over 100 years

After years of varying success, in 1999 a consortium of Bedford businessmen took the club on as it is today. Several thousand supporters (as well as businesses within the town) bought shares in the club to continue to ensure it was viable. The Club grew from strength to strength and in the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons achieved second place in the league tables.

The Blues are an integral part of the town with each home fixture normally drawing over 3000 supporters and many loyal fans becoming involved with the club in some way or another over the season.

This year we are also proud to sponsor individual player Justin Blanchet. Justin joins the Blues from Aviva Premiership side Exeter Chiefs. The 20 year old Montreal native is an imposing figure at 6ft 4” and his arrival allows the Blues to strengthen their back row options.

Speaking about the capture of Blanchet, Blues Director of Rugby Mike Rayer said: “The opportunity to sign Justin from Exeter was one that didn’t take long to think about. He is a very talented youngster who has shown excellent potential during his time with Exeter Chiefs and comes with a glowing reference from Rob Baxter and his staff at Sandy Park. Everyone is really looking forward to seeing Justin competing for a Blues shirt this season.”

We would like to take the opportunity to wish Justin and the team the best of luck in the forthcoming season! Come on you Blues!!
