The S-Seal is a compact, single-piece seal design featuring a moulded elastomer with two metal anti-extrusion rings moulded into the outer edges.
They are designed to fit existing O-Ring type grooves but to operate specifically in high pressure and high temperature applications where traditional O-Ring type seals will extrude and fail. Custom sizes for unique sealing applications are also available.
S-Seals can withstand pressures of 20,000 PSI and above, and are therefore particularly suited to demanding oil and gas applications including;
